MetaBase IDO usage overview
MetaBase IDO platform is a decentralized, industry token crowdfunding issuance system that does not require third-party intervention.
Any LP user can initiate IDO crowdfunding without review and custody throughout the entire process, and is responsible for the crowdfunding process and results.
Initiating IDO crowdfunding requires payment of a certain platform currency fee to avoid spam and flood attacks.
- MetaBase IDO is a non-centralized review mechanism. Participating users should be cautious in participating in IDO. Please fully understand and consider it after joining the project community.
- IDO pool creation is suitable for project sponsors, not for ordinary users.
- When IDO users participate in IDO, they should pay attention to the lock-up situation of the project sponsor and themselves. Projects that are not locked at all are high-risk, please participate with caution.
- IDO crowdfunding tokens can be unlocked at least after the protection period to avoid malicious deception and protect the interests of participants.
Participate in IDO
In the IDO list, select the IDO pool you want to participate in and enter the IDO details page.
On the IDO details page, please carefully check the project currency, address (to avoid impersonation), project lock-up strategy and other information
When the IDO time is up, the user clicks "Participate", enters the IDO quantity and submits, then they can participate in IDO.
- IDO participation permissions are divided into four types: public, whitelist, invitation system, and community nodes. Please confirm whether you have the permission to participate. The whitelist is suitable for specific objects (institutions, angel investors, etc.) in the private placement stage; the invitation system means that the inviter of the current account must be the creator of the IDO pool; the community node refers to the initiation of crowdfunding at a designated community node, and only that node's Only users can participate.
- MetaBase IDO is a peer-to-peer, no review mechanism, users need to bear the authenticity and price risks of the project.
- After IDO users participate, they will get crowdfunding tokens at the end of IDO (the IDO locked by the user needs to be unlocked gradually).
- The project party can choose to unlock or not unlock the target tokens obtained by IDO, which will be announced on the platform. Users who do not accept the hedging strategy and price can choose not to participate.
- In order to protect the interests of users, MetaBase adopts a delayed delivery mechanism, and the project party can withdraw the target tokens at least after the protection period, even if no lock-up strategy is created.
- Once the IDO pool is created, the number of crowdfunding, tokens, etc. cannot be changed. If the data is incorrect after the project party creates the pool, the IDO pool can be closed, but the cost of creating the IDO pool before will not be refunded.
Create IDO Pool
Only LP users can create IDO crowdfunding pools.
After the LP user logs in, on the home page of the IDO module, click "Create IDO Pool".
Fill in the IDO pool information, price, and rules to create an IDO pool.
After submission, the information cannot be changed.
After the IDO pool is created, the IDO pool is in the inactive state. The user first recharges IDO's crowdfunding tokens (according to the total amount of crowdfunding filled in at the time of creation), then the IDO pool can be activated. After about a few minutes, the IDO pool will be displayed in the IDO list.
My IDO Pool
On the IDO homepage, click "My IDO Pool" to view "IDOs I participated in" and "IDOs I created".
On the "IDO I Participated" page, you can view the IDO projects you have participated in, and withdraw or unlock IDO tokens.
On the "IDO I Created" page, you can view the created IDO projects and manage IDO pools.
After creating the IDO pool, it is recommended to set up the LP function first, and then recharge the crowdfunding tokens. Setting up LP must be done before activation
